Please take note of the following important information pertaining to this year’s tournament:

TIME AND VENUES: Please try and be at the courts as early as possible in order to mark the match preceding yours and in the good nature of the tournament, please try and stay and watch your fellow players once you have completed your match. Please also take note of the time of your match on the following day, in order to be at the courts promptly. All plate finals will be played on Thursday

SCORING: Men’s and Ladies A sections will play PAR to 11 and all the remaining sections will play PAR to 15.

MARKING AND REFEREEING: All players must stay after their match to Mark and Referee the next game.

PRIZEGIVING: The prize giving will be directly after the men’s A section final on Friday evening, followed by a cocktail party sponsored by the MSU. All prize winners need to be present in order to claim their prize unless prior arrangements have been made with the MSU. Those prizes not claimed will be put back into the MSU development fund.

We are also looking for a sponsor for this tournament. The Sponsor will have full naming rights of the Midlands Closed Championship and advertising put up during the matches at various courts as well as their logo displayed on my emails, SportyHQ, MSU website and facebook page. If you keen on sponsoring a minimum of R6000.00 towards the Closed Championships, please let me know as soon as possible.

Kind regards,
