Midlands Squash Union (MSU) host a range of tournaments . We have the following tournaments happening over the course of the year. Please download our calendar for the dates and venues
Midlands Squash Union last hosted the Midlands Social Doubles on the 15th March 2024 at 17:30pm at the Collegians Squash Courts, This tournament was open to all players in the Midlands region and is a 1st for Midlands Squash.
Also a reminder that the Intertown Doubles against KZN is on the 12 April 2025 here in PMB and is open to all players as well.
A competitive tournament held annually amongst the Midlands players. The tournament is open to all players young and old in different sections. There will be no league during this week. Finals will take place on Saturday followed by the prizegiving and cocktail party, culminating in the announcement of our Growthpoint IPT teams.

This is held over two weeks in March before the start of the Winter League. The Ladder Tournament is open to the Mens 1st, 2nd and 3rd league players and all players in the ladies' league.Entries are limited to 16 players per section. There is sure to be some great squash as we see the first big battle on the court for seeding on the Midlands ladder. All matches to be played at Collegians
The first Inter Town takes place on a Saturda, 12 April 2025 in Pietermaritzburg and is open to all Midlands players. It is a fun and sociable tournament that creates good camaradie amongst the 2 provinces.
The second Inter Town is a master’s event and which usually takes place later in the year in preparation for IPT Doubles will not be held this year due to KZN hosting the IPT Doubles.
This prestigious tournament will be held from the 5th to the 7th September 2025 at various clubs in Pietermaritzburg. The IPT is an invitational tournament and is open to all Masters players throughout South Africa.
This is a highlight of the Squash Calendar. Our Growthpoint candidates sre hard at training doing a specific conditioning program under the watchful eye of Chandelle Gouweloos. We are very hopeful that we will once again be able to send a ladies’ team to IPT this year.
